By submitting to the group, you have accepted the rule that any deviation submitted to the wrong folder will be declined. This will count as your one submission for the month, and you will not be granted another. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

How to Submit: To submit a deviation, you must first Join The Group. Then, once your request has been accepted, come back to the group and click on the Submit Art icon located at the top of the page.

Mature content Is Allowed, just so long as it is marked correctly. There will be a Mature Content Folder so that people who do not wish to view such things dont have to. If your are planning on submitting mature content please place it in the correct folder.

Though mature content is allowed, distastful things like perverted Furries and porn WILL NOT be accepted.

We are NO LONGER submitting every single deviation that is submitted. We have grown, and so our ways must change. We are only looking for your best work. This means no half finished works, no messy scribble drawings, no things being submitted just for the sake of submission, or anything along those lines.}

The Last Detention I've spent too many years sitting
in the back of a classroom.

We see thousands of chalkboard faces
in the evening haze of rush hour traffic.
The nicest days of the year always happen
when our Teachers give us detention.
We can't be trusted to punish ourselves.
Grab a stick of chalk and begin.

Demeter Heart beating, words softly spoken
As breath
As snow-flakes,
lost-tastes
shiver and drop to the ground
As my whispers resound
Echoing over a clichéd fortress of solitude,
Of my own interlude
Mirrors and glaciers, to shade me from your warmth
Your touch
Your forsaken light, your waytoomuch

Of degrees and brightness I'm unaccustomed to
Of elegance and coldness I'm grown fond of, for you
And Your opposite, your pre-requisite

Divided Equinoxes like two lovers swaying in eternal ellipses,
or warriors circling in ever-evasive orbits:
at times in perihelion, at times aphelion;
yet never closer or further; locked
in a celestial stalemate of divided equinoxes,
more a dance than a war -

each had their own time and the summer was his,
temper turning at the solstice, quick to flare
in sudden blazes or midnight storms as unpredictable
as June tempests, and floods that erased all memories
from the preceding months, while each hour grew
steadily colder, emptier -

until one season's radiance was eclipsed
by the other's lengthening shadow;
and in the dimming light of autumn he would
